Happier Grocery – a hybrid bodega-bookshop-boutique – may be bringing its hyphenated offerings to Carroll Gardens.
A shell company named for the SoHo store has purchased a shuttered Rite Aid pharmacy at 320 Smith St., according to a deed that appeared in the city register Tuesday. Signing the deed was store owner Dawson Stellberger, who also works as a developer...Happier Grocery and S3 Capital did not return emails by press time, and representatives of the Ull family could not immediately be reached. And Dan Marks and Daniel Lebor, the TerraCRG brokers who handled the deal, declined to comment.
